Columbia Falls

Columbia Falls, Montana, is known as the Gateway to Glacier, being just 15 minutes from Glacier National Park’s west entrance. It’s also 15 minutes from the neighbor communities of Whitefish and Kalispell. This lively and charming community is situated along the scenic Flathead River in the beautiful Flathead Valley not far from Hungry Horse Dam and reservoir. Bad Rock Canyon as well as the Middle Fork of the Flathead River offer incredibly scenic natural locations. Home to locally owned shops, restaurants and a brewery, Columbia Falls offers an authentic, western mountain-town feel with ease of access to state and federal public lands and the lodging and amenities production companies are looking for. It is also home of the valley’s only industrial lumber mill. Noteworthy destinations include the iconic Flathead River Bridge, Blankenship Bridge and gravel bar, the Shepard Memorial Fountain, Dancing Spirit Ranch, Montana Treehouse Retreat, Big Sky Waterpark, Montana Vortex and House of Mystery, and Glacier Ziplines. The Blue Moon Nite Club features impressive taxidermy, including two polar bears and an alligator over the bar.
