Hamilton, Montana, anchors the Bitterroot Valley, serving as the valley's largest community and business center. This well-rounded town is situated between the rolling Sapphire Mountains and the peaks of the jagged Bitterroot Range along the gorgeous Bitterroot River, and offers a moderate year-round climate that has earned it a reputation as the “Banana Belt of Montana.” Hamilton includes ease of access to state and federal public lands like Blodgett Canyon, Trapper Peak, and multiple fishing access sites.

Local attractions include the Daly Mansion, the 1886 24,000-square-foot Georgian-Revival style home of Copper King Marcus Daly, including three floors, 50 rooms with 25 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms and seven fireplaces, and grounds including 26 acres of lawns and 400+ old-growth trees. The mansion features period furnishings throughout.

Also, noteworthy is ABC Acres, a year-round permaculture preserve offering unique farm stays in private, well-appointed vacation homes/guest cabins complete with farm animals and incredible mountain views.
