Moiese
Moiese is a quiet rural community on the Flathead Reservation, surrounded by open grasslands, agricultural land and views of the Mission Mountains. The landscape comprises wide valleys, scattered residences and the nearby Flathead River, creating a distinctly agricultural setting with unobstructed horizons.
The community is best known as the gateway to the CSKT Bison Range, where scenic driving routes and walking trails wind through more than 18,000 acres of native grasslands. Bison, elk, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, deer and a wide variety of birds move across the landscape.
Beyond the CSKT Bison Range, Moiese remains lightly developed, with quiet country roads, working ranches and open terrain extending toward the Mission Mountains.
